JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia’s Autism Virtual Clinic has received international recognition at the World Summit on the Information Society 2026 in Geneva, less than a year after its launch.
The clinic, an initiative of the Autism Families Association, was honored after being selected among the finalists in the summit’s e-health category, which recognizes digital health projects that demonstrate social impact through technology.
Launched in October 2025, the Autism Virtual Clinic provides remote healthcare and consultation services for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and their families through a digital platform designed to improve access to specialized care.
Since its launch, the clinic has served more than 200 families and delivered more than 1,000 therapy and consultation sessions. Its services have reached beneficiaries across Saudi Arabia as well as several Gulf countries, enabling families to access specialized support without the need to travel.
The clinic is licensed by the Saudi Ministry of Health, accredited by the Council of Health Insurance, integrated with the Nafis platform and registered with SEHA Virtual Hospital, supporting the delivery of specialized healthcare services remotely.
