Stu Forster/Getty ImagesJuly 10, 2026 Updated 11:32 am EDTLeeds United want to create a new fan park next to Elland Road.A planning application has been submitted to Leeds City Council, which sets out a redevelopment of warehouse units which would ultimately hold 2,000 fans.The units opposite the Jack Charlton Stand in Lowfields Road have been recently purchased, according to the club. They hope to now convert those buildings into a space for matchdays, but also events and live screenings.The warehouse’s industrial aesthetic will be retained, but the plan is to incorporate two levels of bar and seating areas, along with an outdoor courtyard and space for retailers. An image released with the announcement shows a transparent new roof for natural light.(Leeds)A club statement said: “It marks another exciting sign of intent from the club, following the successful planning application and the start of the build for the new West Stand, which is now underway.”A stadium liaison meeting will take place at 6pm on July 23 at Elland Road’s Gary Speed Suite. This will serve as an opportunity for updates on the current stadium development as well as questions from supporters on the fan park proposals.
