For a long time, trading with PU Exchange happened the way a lot of Nigerian fintech began — over WhatsApp, one conversation at a time. That has now changed. PU Exchange has launched the PUEX app, moving its operation into one place, now live on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Why move off WhatsApp
Trading over chat works, but it has limits — every trade needs a back-and-forth, and the user waits on a reply. Putting it in an app removes that friction: buying, selling and paying now happen directly, on the user’s own time.
