Indian film actor Aditya Roy Kapur was born on November 16, 1985, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He works in Hindi-language films and made his Bollywood debut with ‘London Dreams,’ a 2009 film. Kapur is the son of Kumud Roy Kapur and Salome Aaron and is the youngest sibling of film producer Siddharth Roy Kapur and actor Kunaal Roy Kapur. During his school days, Kapur wanted to become a cricketer but he had stopped his cricket coaching classes after the sixth standard. Kapur, in the beginning, was a Video Jockey (VJ) on ‘Channel V India’ and was applauded for his unique style of hosting. In 2010, he did supporting roles in films like ‘Action Replayy’ and ‘Guzaarish’ but the two films didn’t do very well and weren’t able to fetch Kapur fame. However, Kapur then did ‘Aashiqui 2’in 2013 which was a huge hit. The film proved to be the highest-grossing film of 2013 in the Bollywood film industry.
