EastEnders newest villain Bea Pollard left Albert Square in handcuffs earlier this week after holding Billy Mitchell hostage – however, fans were quick to notice an editing blunder that overshadowed the dramatic exit. Tuesday’s episode of the BBC soap saw unhinged resident Bea (played by Ronni Ancona) take her obsession with Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) to new heights after trying to destroy her relationship with husband Billy. After her attempt to kidnap Honey was foiled by Billy, she took him hostage with a corkscrew, threatening to kill him unless Honey went quietly. While many fans were hooked by the final twist in Bea’s storyline, others were distracted by a glaring continuity error with her weapon of choice. In the pivotal scene, Bea is seen holding a green corkscrew to Billy’s neck, but that later appeared to change colour mid-way through the character’s threatening monologue.
