Anthos Fund & Asset Management is appointing a new chief executive. Ronald Wuijster will take over as CEO on August 10, 2026, subject to regulatory approval by the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM).

Wuijster succeeds Jacco Maters, who is stepping down after eight years as CEO, Anthos announced on Friday.

The incoming CEO brings more than 30 years of international asset management experience. Wuijster spent nearly two decades at APG Asset Management, including the past eight years as CEO.

In that role, he oversaw more than 600 billion euros in assets under management. During his career at APG, Wuijster also held senior positions as chief investment officer and chief client officer.
