The Container Corporation of India Ltd (CONCOR) and GAIL (India) Ltd have signed a 15-year agreement to set up a state-of-the-art Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) dispensing station at CONCOR’s Inland Container Depot (ICD) at Khodiyar in Ahmedabad.As per the agreement, GAIL will hold exclusive operational control and invest in setting up the retail LNG outlet infrastructure, while CONCOR will provide 3000 square meters of a dedicated land parcel within its high-traffic Ahmedabad terminal, along with essential utility connectivity, The company stated in a regulatory filing on Thursday.CONCOR has also committed to deploy a dedicated fleet of 15 LNG-powered commercial vehicles starting in the first year of the contract. This multi-modal facility will operate round-the-clock, offering high performance and eco-friendly fueling support to CONCOR’s logistics fleet as well as other open-market commercial vehicles.Published on July 10, 2026
