The family of Virginia Giuffre are working on Parliamentary hearings about Jeffrey Epstein in the UK which could bring a new level of disgrace to Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.Sky Roberts, the brother of Ms Giuffre, the former Duke's accuser, said that he was 'actively' trying to make such hearings happen. They would be modeled on the hearings taking place in the US in Congress where key players in the Epstein story have been forced to testify.Mr Roberts said that he would be coming to Britain soon to try and meet Andy Burnham and press for a public inquiry into Epstein's links to the UK.He also revealed that officers from Thames Valley Police, who are investigating Andrew, would visit the US in the coming weeks as part of their investigation.Andrew was released under investigation following his arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office in February for allegedly passing sensitive information to Epstein, a paedophile who he was friends with for more than a decade.Former UK ambassador to the US, Peter Mandelson, was also released under investigation following his arrest on suspicion of misconduct. Both men deny the allegations. Ms Giuffre took her own life in April 2025 aged 41 Sky Roberts, the brother of Ms Giuffre, the former Duke's accuser, said that he was 'actively' trying to make such hearings happen Public Parliamentary hearings in Britain could be catastrophic for Andrew who could potentially be called as a witness, alongside ex-UK ambassador to the US, Peter MandelsonSpeaking to reporters on a conference call, Mr Roberts said that he 'absolutely' wanted to meet with Mr Burnham, the Makerfield MP who is expected to become the next Prime Minister after Sir Keir Starmer announced he was stepping down.Mr Roberts said: 'I think the UK is at a really pivotal moment. I could see the same structure starting to get created there with the House Oversight Committee here.'There are a lot of things going on with Parliament. We are actively working behind the scenes to guide that. Stay tuned.'One hundred percent you will be seeing lots of UK stuff coming forward'.Mr Roberts' wife Amanda added they were 'pushing for a formal inquiry in the UK'.The prospect of public Parliamentary hearings in Britain could be catastrophic for Andrew and Mr Mandelson, who could both potentially be called as witnesses. In the US, the House Oversight Committee has called in Epstein's famous friends including Microsoft founder Bill Gates, for hours of questioning by Democrats and Republicans.During his interrogation, Mr Gates named three women he had affairs with and discussed excruciating and personal subjects such as whether he ever had a sexually transmitted disease.Epstein's former assistant, Sarah Kellen, was another person who testified and spoke about the decade she worked for Epstein, and the abuse she suffered at his hands. All the Congressional hearings have been behind closed doors, but full transcripts have been released days after each person has testified. The UK equivalent could be in public and be shown live on TV, as most committee proceedings are.Potential witnesses could include members of the Royal household who worked with Andrew during the time he was friends with Epstein.American witnesses who have already testified before Congress could fly to London to tell Parliament what they know about the former Prince.Earlier this year Thames Valley Police revealed that in Andrew's case, the inquiry is not just focused on the handling of sensitive information, it also involved alleged sexual impropriety.Brad Edwards, a US lawyer who has represented hundreds of Epstein victims, has told the BBC that one of his clients was sent by Epstein to Andrew for sex at Buckingham Palace in 2010.But he has also said she is too scared to talk to the police for fear of public harassment. Ms Giuffre - pictured with the former royal - claimed that convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein loaned her to Andrew three times for sex aged 17 in 2001Mr Roberts said that officers from Thames Valley have been in contact with him and that they were 'coming to the US in the coming weeks'.He said: 'I do know for certain they did reach out, they are taking this very seriously and wanted to be very clear they are investigating sexual misconduct'.Ms Giuffre took her own life in April 2025 at the age of 41 in her home near Perth, Western Australia. She claimed that Epstein loaned her to Andrew three times for sex when she was 17 in 2001.Andrew always denied her claims but settled a civil battery lawsuit she brought against him in 2022 for a reported £10 million. The Daily Mail contacted Thames Valley Police for comment. For confidential support call the Samaritans on 116123 or visit a local Samaritans branch, see www.samaritans.org for details
