The Independent National Electoral Commission in Osun State on Thursday presented electronic voter registers to political parties participating in the August 15 governorship election.
At the presentation of the documents to the leadership of the political parties at the commission’s head office in Osogbo, the state Resident Electoral Commissioner, Oluwatoyin Babalola, disclosed that a total of 2,339,233 voters registered to participate in the poll.
In a statement made available by the commission’s Public Relations Officer, Musa Olurode, containing an analysis of the register, INEC stated that “The number of registered voters in the state for the 2023 general elections in Osun State was 1,954,800.
“395,995 voters were registered in Osun State during the 2025/2026 CVR exercise; 26,202 voters transferred to Osun State during the 2025/2026 CVR exercise; 7,125 voters transferred out of Osun State during the 2025/2026 CVR exercise.
