Charges have been withdrawn against a former Mississauga man accused of taking part in the theft of some $24-million of gold and cash from Pearson International Airport more than three years ago.

A spokesperson for the Ministry of the Attorney General confirmed that Ammad Chaudhary, formerly of Mississauga, no longer faces charges for theft over $5,000 and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence and two counts of possession of property obtained by crime.
