Although a drone deal has not yet been signed between Ukraine and the United States, there are documents in place between the two countries that allow for the transfer of various types of drones to the United States for testing.
President Volodymyr Zelensky told reporters this, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.
“Of course, a drone deal between Ukraine and the U.S. has not yet been signed, but there are some documents that have already been signed so that the American side can receive from Ukraine various types [of drones] in which the U.S. is interested, for testing purposes. And they are receiving them from us. These include aerial drones, maritime drones, and other technological devices,” Zelensky noted.

He added that after this stage of cooperation, Ukraine and the U.S. will move on to the drone deal. “But the fact is that testing is currently underway, and we are receiving very positive feedback,” the President said.
