Jamie Smith, from Birmingham said: “We got in last night. I know they are saying be careful of the beers - but we will take no notice we will carry on drinking. And there’s not doubt it’s coming home.”‌They booked their flights back at Christmas - they took a gamble England would get through. Some have got match tickets some haven’t.'Drink us dry'They are carrying a huge wad of thousands of dollars so they can pay for tickets immediately if they get lucky. The landlady of the Ball and Chain pub Yulissa Escobar said: “The Scottish fans were fantastic and drank us dry - we are hoping England fans will do exactly the same.”‌David Beckham is expected to attend to support Thomas Tuchel’s men. Harry will remember this for the rest of his life so we decided it was worth taking him out of school for a few days.“We are loving Miami and can’t wait for the game. Tickets weren’t cheap I paid £6,000 for two - let’s hope it’s worth it.” The pair who are Manchester United fans were proudly wearing their red England tops on South Beach.England play Norway on Saturday night and victory would send them into the semi-finals of a World Cup for the first time since 2018. Croatia defeated the Three Lions at that stage during that competition.‌Keir Starmer, though, has hinted an England World Cup win could mean an extra bank holiday for Brits. Asked whether he would back a bank holiday if England managed to win, Sir Keir told reporters: "I don't want to jinx it, but ask me again if we get to the final."
