IBM on Thursday released a series of major updates to IBM Bob, the agentic software development platform that debuted earlier this year.
Initially hailed as a “collaborative AI coding helper” for enterprises, the latest iteration of Bob goes some way beyond that by providing what IBM calls a unified foundation that enables extensive coordination among teams when developing software.
Among the key new features are multi-agent functionality, integrated cost and use monitoring, and specialized, built-in workflows to modernize enterprise systems.
