Ultimate Team players are in for a fun summer after EA Sports dropped a massive bombshell for the launch of Season 9 in EA FC 2611:58, 09 Jul 2026Updated 12:13, 09 Jul 2026The latest Season Pass has arrived in EA Sports FC 26 with an end-game reward worthy of the 30-level grind. The latest World Tour season, Season 9, celebrates the next World Cup hosts with themed player items and more to come.‌The World Tour Season 9 is themed around 2030 World Cup hosts Spain, Portugal and Morocco. But it will also celebrate Uruguay, the very first hosts and winners of the FIFA World Cup back in 1930.‌There's also a special nod to Argentina, who alongside Uruguay and Paraguay are the special centennial host nations for one game each at the next tournament.‌As such, players will collect player items throughout the latest EA FC 26 Season Pass with connections to those host nations. There are some exceptions, too - including the Level 30 reward of a Futties Icon Kenny Dalglish.There are six player items in total available on free track of the Season Pass. An additional seven are available via the paid-for Premium Season Pass, finishing with a 97-rated Futties Icon Jairzinho.But this Season Pass comes with a slight twist - and means you don't have to pay for the Premium Season Pass this time around. Here's everything you need to know.‌EA FC World Tour Season 9 rewards, content and changesA new feature to Season 9 is a host of Evolution consumables available as rewards aimed at customising a unique National Pride player item. At Level 1, players will be awarded a National Pride rarity shell evolution.As they make their way through the pass, FUT players will be able to upgrade their selected National Pride player item with overall rating boosts, Playstyle+ picks and more.Look out for the 'Make Your National Pride Star' evolution consumables along the Season Pass journey. The second part of the evolution arrives at Level 14, and offers a +2 boost up to 97 overall rating and +4 boosts to Skill Moves and Weak Foot ratings, among other upgrades.‌Some of the other highlights of the latest Season Pass - which will also be the penultimate season of EA FC 26 - include a 5x 91+ Rare Gold Players Pack and 95-rated National Pride Franco Mastantuono player item for the free track. The Premium Season Pass offers 95-rated FUT Phenoms Warren Zaire-Emery and a 96-rated Futties Hero Lucio.But you don't have to pay for the Premium track this time around. That's because, at Level 22, players unlock a Premium Pass Token that will open it up for nothing. The Premium Pass Token can be used in Season 9, or saved for Season 10.‌As well as these rewards, there will be a three-round Daily Knockout competition with National Pride Martin Zubimendi the ultimate prize. EA Sports has also introduced the Future World Tour, which features five new Objective groups released weekly, much like the Journey of Nations objectives.These celebrate some of world football's rising stars, with Rio Ngumoha (England), Estevao (Brazil), Lennart Karl (Germany), Can Uzun (Türkiye) and Eli Junior Kroupi (France) all getting special Red National Pride player items. Players will unlock a Futties Icon Frank Lampard for completing any four of the available 5 Future World Tour objective groups.Futties Tokens will also be introduced for standard rewards, allowing players to unlock packs, evolutions and player items in exchange. These will replace the Festival of Football Tokens as of Friday, July 10 - but the FoF Tokens can still be spent in the FoF Token Store until the end of August.‌In addition, Champions Token rewards have been updated to a flat rate of 100 Tokens per win. Those who finish between Rank 1 and Rank 3 in FUT Champions will also earn other rewards on top of the Tokens.When will Futties start in EA FC 26?The number of Futties rewards in the Season Pass is no coincidence. The final major promo of the EA FC game cycle is almost upon us.Celebrating everything about the game's year, Futties typically includes the game's highest-rated player items. Usually, these are items commemorating fan favourites, giving huge boosts to the most meta and used players in the game.‌There'll also be loads of special packs boosted by the inclusion of special players from the game's various campaigns since launch. Players will also find Squad Building Challenges and Objectives that celebrate major transfers confirmed as the summer wears on.Given that Season 9 expires on Thursday, August 13 at 8am BST - the same time that Season 10 will begin - it's safe to assume that Futties will also end at the same time.
