Through an aggressive and gutsy style of play, Nosková was then able to overpower Belgium’s Elise Mertens in the quarterfinals with a 6-3, 7-5 win, en route to her inaugural Grand Slam semifinal appearance.On the other side of the net, she finds ninth-seeded Kostyuk, who has been in form for quite some time now. Her 6-3, 6-2 quarterfinal victory over 2024 Wimbledon finalist Jasmine Paolini was Kostyuk’s 21st win out of her last 22 matches.
