Xevi Pujolar, a former senior Formula One engineer, has been appointed as senior strategic motorsport advisor for Formula Africa.
A significant step forward for African motorsport has been taken with the appointment of Xevi Pujolar, a former senior Formula One engineer, as senior strategic motorsport advisor for Formula Africa.
The move signals a determined effort to build a sustainable and comprehensive motorsport ecosystem across the continent, moving beyond the simple ambition of producing racing drivers to fostering a new generation of engineers, technicians and industry leaders.
Pujolar brings over 23 years of experience in the Formula One paddock, having held senior technical roles with teams including Jaguar Racing, Williams, Scuderia Toro Rosso, Sauber and Alfa Romeo Racing.
His career has seen him work alongside world champions and race winners, including Fernando Alonso, Juan Pablo Montoya, Mark Webber and Max Verstappen.
