TVTV NewsEmmerdaleAfter Emmerdale spoilers revealed Robert Sugden would be injured in a farm incident, fans couldn't help but question if his cousin Serena Sugden is to blame - but it seems not06:33, 09 Jul 2026Robert Sugden's 'attacker' might not be who Emmerdale fans think.‌The character is left unconscious and injured next week after an incident on the farm. Now, spoilers do not actually say Robert is attacked, but it's been teased there is more to the accident.‌What we know is that Robert is on the farm when he's injured by a runaway trailer. Serena Sugden finds her cousin and gets him back to the house to help him.‌When Robert's fiancé Aaron Dingle heads to the house to see Robert, it's clear he is suspicious of Serena. While she is tending to her cousin, Aaron points out how Serena just happened to be there when Robert needed her.It would seem this has everything to do with Aaron's ex John Sugden. Fans will remember the villain would set up incidents to leave people in danger so that he could save them.‌The spoilers do not state this, but it does feel as though Aaron's concerns come from the fact that Serena has been acting weird. She's been asking a lot of questions about John, and Aaron isn't completely sold on her staying with them.So does Aaron's questions about the incident with Robert come from him fearing Serena could be another John? Does he have a reason to fear for his and Robert's safety?Maybe not, as some other possibly cryptic spoilers could reveal who is actually to blame for the incident with Robert. It does seem to be accidental, and it involves two other characters.‌This is purely speculation, but a spoiler about a scene involving Mackenzie Boyd and Ross Barton, who are at the farm that same week, mentions a trailer. Is it just a coincidence, or is it linked? So the spoiler reads: "A simmering tension from Mack towards Ross builds as they load bags from a trailer." It's at this point that the pair end up fighting, and Mack attacks Ross.‌So what happens with the trailer? Is it the same trailer that ends up "running away' and colliding with poor Robert on the farm? Perhaps Aaron's fears are not needed, and Serena is not the one to be questioning.Maybe Mack and Ross are so distracted with their deadly showdown that the trailer they are using ends up going rogue. Of course this might not be the case at all and maybe someone else does cause the incident.Article continues belowEmmerdale airs weeknights at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX. * Follow Mirror Celebs and TV on TikTok , Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads .Choose Daily Mirror as a 'Preferred Source' on Google News for quick access to the news you value.‌ITVEmmerdaleEmmerdale spoilersSoap operas
