Ankara/Berlin, July 8 (EFE).- US President Donald Trump on Wednesday warned that the United States could launch fresh strikes against Iran, saying Tehran continued to behave «very badly» while casting doubt on the prospects for a new nuclear agreement.
“(Iranian leaders) are behaving very badly, as they have for 47 years, and we hit them hard last night,” Trump said at the start of a bilateral meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. “I’ll give him a little warning. We’re going to hit them hard tonight, but we’ll see how it all works out.”
Trump said Iran’s leaders suffered from some «severe mental disorders.»
“They’ll agree on everything and then they’ll go and have a news conference and say we never even talked about it,” Trump said. “They’re cuckoo, there’s something wrong with these people.”
Trump added that he’s “not happy” with the regime.
