U.S. President Donald Trump said he would like to visit Ukraine, but the right time must come first.
According to a Ukrinform correspondent, he made these remarks in Ankara before meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“I would. I would rather have the war be over,” Trump replied when asked if he would like to visit Ukraine.
At the same time, he noted that he would prefer the war to end first.
Trump remarked that it would be nice to visit Kyiv before it suffered further destruction, adding that it was a very beautiful city.
