Endowments Secretary K. Kannababu was on Wednesday sworn in as ex officio member of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board that governs the temple of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala.At a brief ceremony at ‘Bangaru Vakili’ inside the temple, TTD Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary administered the oath of office. Soon after, Mr. Kannababu, accompanied by his family members, offered prayers and had darshan of the presiding deity.As part of the traditional honours, scholars rendered ‘Veda Ashirvachanam’ at the Ranganayakula Mandapam, invoking divine blessings for the new board member.
