AI compute platform provider SambaNova has raised $1 billion in a Series F round, led by General Atlantic.The company was valued at $11bn with significant investment from Seligman Ventures, T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc., and Capital Group. New and existing investors include A&E Investment, Assam Ventures, Battery Ventures, Cambium Capital, BlackRock, Intel Capital, Kabila Capital, QFO Capital, Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), Vista Equity Partners, and Volantis.SambaNova develops its own AI inference chips, known as Reconfigurable Data Units (RDUs), which it packages in a broader platform alongside Intel hardware.
