Incidentally, this being the 30th anniversary of the series, tying the narrative back to the site of the very first game could be a refreshing way forward. Control was a mind bending action game where paranormal meets government dystopia. The sequel was just revealed at The Game Awards and follows a new protagonist, Dylan Fanden as he uses a couple of metal sticks that transform into swords and hammers, to melee across an infected Manhattan. A more grounded character than Spiderman, Wolverine looks to be action focused, featuring some very bloody combat with decapitations, dismemberment and buckets of blood, as expected.
