Darts ace Devon Petersen is doing it again by bringing his vision of using darts to sharpen maths skills to 500 schools with a R12 million investment.
The Portland-born "African Warrior", who previously introduced his innovative Dartboard Maths concept during a visit to Cape Town schools, is now helping spearhead an ambitious project that will see 500 schools nationwide benefit from structured school darts programmes.
Of those schools, 256 are in the Western Cape.
The initiative, driven through the African Dart Group (ADG), the International Darts School League (IDSL), Dartboard Maths, and partners, aims to use the sport as more than just a competitive activity.
