The Office of the President confirmed that yesterday, on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Ankara, the presidents of Ukraine and Poland, Volodymyr Zelensky and Karol Nawrocki, had a brief conversation.

According to a Ukrinform correspondent, Dmytro Lytvyn, the president’s communications adviser, reported this to journalists.

“Last night, the presidents [Zelensky and Nawrocki] spoke; it was a brief conversation, and they agreed that today they would try to coordinate their schedules so that another meeting could take place,” Lytvyn said.

As previously reported, ahead of the NATO summit in Ankara, Polish President Karol Nawrocki emphasized the importance of maintaining dialogue and cooperation with Ukraine, as both countries face a common threat from the Russian Federation.

Nawrocki stated that he spoke with Zelensky on the sidelines of the NATO summit and did not rule out another meeting during the event.
