Defender receives a raft of upgrades, including new-look Vertex model, mild-hybrid petrol

The Defender Vertex specification brings a fresh new front-end look to the stable.

The Defender range has been freshened up with a host of subtle upgrades, including new finishes and accessories, a six-seat option and a revised powertrain line-up. But perhaps the most exciting news is the new Vertex grade that brings numerous design enhancements.

The Defender Vertex model sits parallel to the luxurious X specification and features redesigned front and rear bumpers, as well as a larger grille and revised fog lights, all finished in Shadow Atlas Matte.

The new variant rolls on unique 22-inch Diamond Turned wheels with a Satin Dark Grey tint, and other distinguishing features include a Gloss Black tail spoiler and yellow front brake calipers with matching rear recovery 'eyes'.

New Namib Orange exterior colour was inspired by Namibian sand dunes.
