The system allows passengers to use their face as a boarding pass for self-boarding, airport security gates and self-service bag drop. Passengers can activate Fast Pass through the Qatar Airways app or at self-service airport kiosks, linking their biometrics to their journey details. Data collected for Fast Pass is deleted 24 hours after the passenger's flight departs, and participation in the system is optional.
