President Donald Trump arrived in Turkey on Tuesday to attend a NATO summit and was welcomed at a ceremony by Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shortly after.

The leaders stood for anthems at the July 15 Martyrs' Memorial, before reviewing a guard of honor during a flyover.

Earlier, Erdoğan had waited on the blue carpet for Trump as he descended from Air Force One. They shook hands and Trump squeezed Erdoğan's shoulder.
