Jul 8, 2026 – 4.00pmThe Federal Court on Wednesday rejected Clive Palmer’s “very elaborate edifice of allegations” against James Shipton, dismissing an appeal by the billionaire of his suit against the former Australian Securities and Investments Commission chair and saddling Palmer with costs.Palmer, who is Australia’s fifth-richest person, launched legal action against Shipton in 2024.
