• Party faction dismisses claims of candidates’ planned suit against its leadership

Justice Salim Ibrahim has adjourned till July 10, to decide the authentic leadership of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The case is between the faction led by Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, and the mainstream Interim National Working Committee of the PDP, led by Tanimu Turaki.
Similarly, the Court of Appeal, Abuja, shifted hearing in the appeals filed by African Democratic Congress (ADC), Accord, and three other political parties against their deregistration to July 14.
