Oratomic Secures $300M Series A to Build Fault-Tolerant Quantum Computers via Reconfigurable Neutral-Atom Arrays

Neutral-atom hardware startup Oratomic has launched its public operations following a $300 million Series A funding round. The capitalization cycle was co-led by ARCH Venture Partners, Spark Capital, and Khosla Ventures, with participation from an investment syndicate including Bezos Expeditions, Index Ventures, General Catalyst, Lowercarbon Capital, Bain Capital, Formation, Nebular, David and Scott Aaronson, Les Kohn, Baiju Bhatt, Infleqtion, Genius Ventures, 7i Capital, and Global Frontier Investments. The company is allocating the $300 million to scale its cross-disciplinary engineering infrastructure and finance recruitment campaigns across advanced optics, atomic physics, and classical control hardware.
