LAGOS — Thousands of worshippers gathered at the Chosen Revival Ground along the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway over the weekend as the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries hosted its biennial international crusade, themed “And The Enemies Submitted.”
The two-day programme, which ended on Sunday, attracted participants from across Nigeria and several other countries, with many also joining virtually.
A highlight of the event was the presentation of an Icon of Peace Award to the General Overseer of the church, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, by delegates of the International College for Diplomatic Affairs. Muoka dedicated the award to Jesus Christ and the church.
Speaking on the theme of the crusade, Pastor Muoka said God grants victory over life’s challenges to those who remain faithful to Him.
In his messages titled “And The Enemies Submitted” (Parts 1 and 2), he said the mission of the devil is to steal, kill and destroy, but stressed that God’s power is greater than every force of evil.
