Nollywood producer Uchechi Okereke has shared the inspiration behind his latest movie, The Domestic Staff, as the suspense-filled family drama prepares to premiere exclusively on Global Crown TV on YouTube on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
According to the filmmaker, The Domestic Staff is a gripping story of love, betrayal, trust and hidden secrets, exploring how a single decision can change the lives of an entire family.
Speaking about the project, Okereke revealed that the movie draws inspiration from real-life experiences and everyday situations that many families can relate to.
“I wanted to tell a story that is not only entertaining but also relatable. It is a story that will make people reflect on the choices they make and the people they choose to trust,” he said.
While family dramas are common in Nollywood, Okereke believes The Domestic Staff offers something different through its emotional storytelling and unexpected twists.
