Saudi Arabia on Tuesday condemned the bomb attacks on Damascus which took place earlier in the day.
“The Foreign Ministry expresses the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s condemnation and rejection in the strongest terms of the cowardly terrorist attack on the Syrian capital Damascus that led to the injury of a number of security staff and civilians,” a statement read.

It stressed the rejection by Saudi Arabia of all terrorist and extremist acts, saying that they are an attempt to “shake the security and stability” of Syria and “its brotherly people” and offering consolation to the families of those injured and the Syrian government, wishing for the “perseverance of security and peace” for Syria and its people.
Two blasts had hit the center of the Syrian capital earlier in the day, injuring 18 people. They occurred close to the hotel hosting France’s President Emmanuel Macron who is on an official visit to the country.
