Earlier this year, Meta replaced its Llama AI models with Muse Spark, part of its newly built Meta Superintelligence Labs effort.
Today Meta is releasing its first image generation tool from Superintelligence Labs as part of the Meta AI app. The company says its new image-gen tools also power creative experiences in Instagram and WhatsApp with more to come.
Like similar systems, Muse Image lets you generate images with a descriptive text prompt. Muse Image uses Muse Spark AI reasoning to interpret the prompt, search the web for context, and plan the image creation process before generating results.
Today, Meta is rolling out Muse Image, the company’s first image generation model from MetaSuperintelligence Labs, now available in Meta AI. Muse Spark made Meta AI a smarter assistant; now, Muse Image acts as the creative partner that knows your world, making it easy to turn your ideas into high-quality visuals that you can download and share anywhere, including directly to your feed, story, or chat.
As a Meta product, Muse Image can also work with photos that you upload, friend profiles that you tag, or trending information on Meta properties like Facebook.
