Williamson Health, an independent regional system in Tennessee, is planning a nine-figure sale to Ascension to secure its long-term capital needs, its board of trustees announced Monday. | The offer unanimously approved by Williamson's board of trustees includes a $700 million price tag and $250 million of capital support over 10 years, beating out other proposals from HCA Healthcare and Optum. The partners are now working on a nonbinding letter of intent for county board approval.
