Workers, including roster clerks and duty train crew managers, will walk out from midnight on Thursday, 9 July, until noon on Saturday, 11 July. The strike, affecting London Northwestern Railway (LNR) and West Midlands Trains (WMT), is over a dispute regarding rest day working payments. A limited service will operate on certain routes, with earlier final departures and some lines having no service at all. LNR and WMT are offering full refunds for cancelled services or allowing tickets to be used on Thursday, 9 July, or Sunday, 12 July.
