The Turkish president said his country is taking steps to reinforce global peace, Al Jazeera reported.
“All our friends are working together to achieve this end,” he said.
Asked about the situation in Gaza, he said, “We will work towards restoring peace in the region.”
The Nato summit, he added, “pays attention to all these matters” and expressed hope for a “good outcome”.
US president Donald Trump, who arrived in Ankara for the summit today, meanwhile criticised Nato again for its stance on the Iran war.
