Ukraine's international reserves increased by 12.1% in June 2026, reaching $51.27 billion as of July 1.

That is according to the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), Ukrinform reports.

"According to preliminary data, Ukraine's international reserves stood at $51.269 billion as of July 1, 2026. In June, they increased by 12.1% thanks to foreign currency inflows from international partners, which exceeded the National Bank's net foreign currency sales and the country's foreign debt payments," the statement said.

According to the NBU, the movement of reserves in June 2026 was driven primarily by government inflows and payments related to servicing and repaying the state debt.

Nearly $11.32 billion was credited to the government's foreign currency accounts with the National Bank during the month, including $6.82 billion from the European Union and $4.49 billion channeled through World Bank accounts.
