Drinking water supply will remain suspended in the following areas of Tiruchi on July 9 due to the maintenance work to be undertaken by the Corporation.A section of the 400 mm drinking water pipeline originating from the Kambarasampettai pumping station is to be replaced with 600 mm pipeline on Wednesday.As a result, water supply would be suspended to areas getting supply from the following overhead water tanks: Thillai Nagar, Cantonment (new and old), Khajapettai (old and new), Anna Nagar, Junction (old), Ponnagar, Karumandapam, South Ramalinga Nagar, UKT (old and new), Kallangadu, Milagupaarai, and Society Colony.Regular supply will be restored to these areas from July 10, a Corporation press release said.
