He also called for urgent reforms to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), saying the rapidly changing global order demands greater representation for countries like India and Indonesia. The visit also saw both sides expand cooperation across defence, trade, digital technology, maritime security, critical minerals and culture, while announcing the "Tagore-Dewantara Year for Cultural and Educational Diplomacy" in 2027.
