Air France announced on Monday that it has resumed flights to and from Riyadh and Tel Aviv, while extending the suspension of its services to Beirut until 20th July.

The airline did not provide further details on the decision but confirmed that flights to the Lebanese capital will remain suspended until the revised date.

In a separate development, the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that Israel’s ambassador to the United States, Yechiel Leiter, said the next round of negotiations between Lebanon and Israel is scheduled to take place in Rome on 15th-16th July.

Speaking during a meeting with the Council on Foreign Relations in Washington, Leiter said the talks would be held at the ambassadorial level as part of the ongoing diplomatic process between the two countries.
