Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck eight tankers belonging to Russia's shadow fleet in a single night.

According to Ukrinform, USF Commander Robert "Madyar" Brovdi announced this on Facebook.

According to Brovdi, the tankers were attacked by pilots of the Kairos unit of the 414th Separate Brigade "Madyar's Birds."

"The battle for fuel supplies to Crimea in the Sea of Azov continues. During the overnight aerial maritime battle on July 7, the operation reached an industrial scale of 'fishing': a school of eight fuel tankers, one cargo vessel, and one ferry," Brovdi said.

He noted that all of the tankers have been identified and are under international sanctions. They are vessels with a deadweight of approximately 7,000 tons each, about 140 meters long, built between 2006 and 2012. The identified vessels are: Venera-3, Sanar-1, Sanar-17, Klimena, Teti, Aleksey Savrasov, and Penelopa.
