Solar modules manufacturer Premier Energies on Tuesday said it secured orders worth Rs 3,011 crore during the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, for the supply of solar cells and modules.According to a company statement, the contracts have been awarded by a mix of power producers and module manufacturers.The orders include the supply of 1,846 MW of solar cells and modules, with deliveries scheduled across FY2027 and FY2028, the statement said.Read More: Tata Power to install solar, battery energy systems across one lakh households in Punjab over three yearsChiranjeev Saluja, Managing Director, Premier Energies, said, "These new orders reflect the leadership position built by Premier Energies with investments in new technologies, scale and product quality."Premier Energies has a manufacturing capacity of 11.1 GW for solar modules and 3.6 GW for solar cells in India.The company is also investing Rs 6,000 crore to establish 10 GW of ingot capacity and 10 GW of wafer capacity as part of its plan to become an integrated solar company.Read More: MNRE opposes uniform DSM norms for renewable projects
