Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt) warned that the rapid expansion of artificial intelligence and robotics could reshape jobs, education and human relationships, raising concerns about who benefits from the technology-driven future.
Sanders Criticizes AI Job Replacements
On Monday, in a post on X while sharing a clip, Sanders criticized the direction of the AI industry, arguing that major technology companies are pushing a future where machines could replace human workers and reduce human interaction.
"The Big Tech oligarchs want to replace tens of millions of jobs with robots. They want robots teaching our kids," Sanders wrote.
He added, "Is this the future we want for humanity?"
