At least two workers were rescued and several others are feared trapped after a landslip occurred at the Anakkampoyil–Kalladi–Meppadi twin-tunnel road construction site near the Meenakshi Bridge in Kalladi in Wayanad district on Tuesday (July 7, 2026).Rescue operations are on at the site and NDRF has been deployed on an emergency basis.The two rescued workers have already been rescued and rushed to the hospital.
