More than 200 buildings were damaged in Vyshneve, Kyiv region, as a result of Russia's massive attack on July 6, including over 100 residential buildings. Seven dormitories for railway workers were also damaged.
According to Ukrinform, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration and Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksii Kuleba announced this on Telegram.
"Efforts to eliminate the consequences of the massive Russian attack on the Kyiv region are ongoing. Unfortunately, as of now, eight people are confirmed dead. My sincere condolences to their families and loved ones," Kuleba said.
According to him, the town of Vyshneve in Bucha district suffered the greatest destruction. Around 500 residents have been evacuated from the danger zone. Temporary accommodation, humanitarian assistance, medical care, and psychological support have been arranged for those who cannot return to their homes.
