Charles Leclerc celebrated his first victory in nearly two years in style.
The Ferrari driver, who won the British Grand Prix on Sunday after a somewhat chaotic race, hoisted the trophy while wearing the watch he created with Richard Mille.
Released in May 2025, the timepiece is based on the RM 72-01 flyback chronograph that launched in 2020, but features a few fresh aesthetic touches in honor of the Monegasque racer.
The 40 mm tonneau-shaped case is crafted in the watchmaker’s signature Quartz TPT, with a red-over-white colorway inspired by the Monegasque flag. (Leclerc was born in Monaco in 1997 and still lives in the country.) The skeletonized dial showcases the same two hues, with pops of red on the chronograph counters and white across the bridges. In stark contrast, the black crown evokes a car tire twisting under acceleration.
