Nigel Farage is already being investigated for potentially breaking Commons rules by not declaring a £5m gift from a bitcoin billionaire.
MPs are calling for that probe to be expanded after the Sunday Times alleged that Mr Farage had also not revealed he’d received financial support from another crypto currency businessman who is a convicted fraudster.
Farage says he has “done no wrongdoing”, while Reform UK say Farage did not need to admit to the donations because his benefactor, George Cottrell, gave it in a “personal capacity”.
And Cottrell has said today that he disputes the allegations and assertions made by the Sunday Times.
