Kogi State Governor Ahmed Ododo
Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, has urged young people to support President Bola Tinubu’s administration, saying the Federal Government’s youth-focused reforms and empowerment programmes are laying the foundation for sustainable economic growth and shared prosperity.
Ododo made the call while inaugurating the Kogi Youth Mining and Jewellery Craftsmanship Empowerment Programme in Abuja, according to a statement made available to PUNCH Online on Monday.
The initiative, a strategic programme of the Kogi State Government, is designed to equip young people with globally competitive skills in the mining and jewellery value chain as part of efforts to harness the state’s vast solid mineral resources for economic development.
The governor said the Tinubu administration had demonstrated a strong commitment to empowering Nigerian youths through transformative policies and targeted interventions aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, reducing unemployment and creating sustainable sources of income.
