July 6 (UPI) -- Colin Woodall has landed the lead role in the new show Myron Bolitar.

Netflix announced Monday that Woodall (The Flight Attendant, The Continental), 34, will play the title character in the upcoming mystery series.

Myron Bolitar is based on the character created by author Harlan Coben, who first appeared in his 1995 novel Deal Breaker. Myron is a onetime NBA hopeful who now gets wrapped up into "blackmail attempts, murder, and more" as a sports agent.

KJ Apa (Riverdale) co-stars as Myron's best friend Win Lockwood, with Diane Guerrero (The Lincoln Lawyer) as Esperanza Diaz, a former professional wrestler who is now Myron's right hand at the agency.
